American Airlines Federal Credit Union is a nationally recognized $4.3b financial institution with 43 branches nationwide including Puerto Rico, serving over 210,000 member/owners. We have an opportunity for a dynamic, motivated registered representative who is interested in joining our team DFW FlagShip branch. AAFCU Investment and Retirement Services provides members with comprehensive solutions based financial planning. As a registered representative you will be responsible for as multi- state region serving American Airlines and American Eagle employees, retirees and other persons who work in the air transportation industry. Responsibilities also include but are not limited to, achieving new business goals through an active call program for current and new Member relationships. Introduction to all new Members will include an overview of services available within the Financial Services Group including a thorough review of the “Financial Advisor’s First” approach. Our current Member’s will continue to receive a high-level of quality service keeping pace with the ever changing financial marketplace as well as the ever changing needs of our Members.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager and dedicated to the industry that can demonstrate their ability to create, present and implement financial solutions to clients. Prospective candidates should also have the ability to maintain and develop relationships with clients as well as all levels of the institution. It is also expected that the successful candidate will commit to executing a client review program and usage of a planning tool in the customer interaction while working in a collaborative setting.
Responsibilities: Investment representative with AAFCU Financial Services meet with credit union members and provide them with comprehensive financial solutions specific to the individual members needs. This includes but is not limited to suitable investments and insurance products that promote member’s financial success. Specifically, through a needs-based selling approach, financial advisors provide financial consultations and seminars on investing, education, retirement, and protection planning to credit union members. Representatives are expected to monitor and report on their performance via periodic reports, provide a high level of service and effectively communicating with internal and external clients/members, Credit Union departments/branches. Candidate must be a self-starter who takes initiative to meet goals in a team environment. Ensure the security and confidentiality of all account information and credit union documents, and produce business that is compliant with all applicable AAFCU, FIRNA, NCUA, state insurance regulations and broker dealer policies and guidelines.
Certifications Required: NASD Series 7, Series 66, Life, Health, and Variable license.
